rschaefer6811-301Robbie Schaefer, Founder and President

Robbie has been a professional musician for over 20 years, touring and recording with the folk-rock band Eddie From Ohio, as well as on his own. He has lived in India, Switzerland, and Virginia, which explains his love for chai tea, chocolate, and tri-cornered hats. From 2007-2012 he served as Music Director for Kids Place Live, the children’s programming channel on SiriusXM Radio. He is the father to three boys, and cultivates an abiding love for olives, tall trees, and small people. During Board meetings Robbie is prone to using phrases such as, “that being said”, or, “dynamic initiative”, or, “shifting paradigm”, because he thinks they make him sound more Executive Director-ish. The rest of us smile and nod politely. His Mexican Wrestler name is Brazo Fantastico. Yes, we looked it up.

Anieca Lord,  Director of OperationsAAEAAQAAAAAAAAF2AAAAJGFlNjI3NWEzLTM3M2UtNDNmNS1iODJiLTc5MTk4OTg3Y2M4Yw

First things first. Anieca (ah-nee-sa) is the only Anieca Lord in the United States. For real. Look it up. Second things second. If you’re interested in talking to us about helping to spread Love and Music around the world, contact Anieca. If you have a brilliant idea for or burning question about OneVoice, contact Anieca. If you have an abiding love of Labradors, spicy food, or the color orange, contact . . . well, you get the idea. You want some deets? Here ya go: Anieca has a BA in Theater & Communications and over 15 years of project management experience, currently as the Program Manager for Design for Learning at the American Architectural Foundation in Washington, DC.

Anieca’s passion has always been working with children through the arts, to empower them to recognize their gifts and similarities, regardless of their place of origin. She has been a volunteer youth adviser for Pacific Missionary Aviation, Kwaj Kids, Sasha Bruce House, and City at Peace.  She has a fondness for anything international, having grown up in places such as Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Greece, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. She is however, originally from Texas. We know this because she reminds us. Y’know. How Texans do.

Oh, and by the way, if you ever need a ride through a snowstorm or perhaps a magician’s assistant for any reason whatsoever . . . that’s right–contact Anieca. Here’s how: anieca@onevoicecommunity.org. Just make sure you start with “howdy”. She’s from Texas, you know. Mexican Wrestler Name: Pantalones Inutil

EvelinaEvelina Christopherson, Executive Producer, Programming and Events

Evelina Christopherson joins the OneVoice family as our Executive Producer of Programming and Events. Her dedication to sustainable event production will ensure that each step on the OneVoice path will leave a light carbon footprint as we trek the globe. She also uses the word “dope”. A lot. In fact, we’ve quickly learned that the primary harbinger of success for OneVoice is when Evelina refers to it as being “dope”.

She is the Founder of Evelina Eco Events and the Green Business Initiative. Evelina lives in California with her musical husband of 10 years and her daughter. Combining her passion for children, music and sustainability is a dream come true for her.

In case you didn’t notice, we’ll point it out for you: we used “harbinger” and “dope” in the same sentence. Talent. Oozing with rhetorical talent. Mexican Wrestler Name: Americano Misterio

Audra Parker, DiOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERArector of Education

Audra Parker holds a BA/MAT in History and Elementary Education from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in Elementary Education from the University of Georgia. During her 8 years of teaching children in grades 4-8 and 10 years working with pre-service teachers in university contexts, she developed an expertise in instructional planning, integrated learning, differentiated instruction, and teacher education. The only word the rest of us understood in the last part of that sentence was “teacher”. Which is why, she is currently an Associate Professor and Program Chair in Elementary Education at George Mason University (Fairfax, VA) and the rest of us are not. Audra recently moved back to the Old Dominion from sunny Florida with her posse of pets: Charley, the geriatric golden retriever, Mo, the mischievous black kitty and Rio, the bubble-making betta (that’s a Siamese Fighting Fish. Yeah, They make those).

Now that she is back home, she plans to spend her spare time rooting for the Hoos, Nats, and Skins. We do know what all those things are. Audra is also a foodie who loves traveling, running, biking, hiking, and paddleboarding. Mexican Wrestler Name: Siamese Fighting Fish
